Baniyas shared the points with Shabab Al Ahli following a 2-2 draw in their Round 25 clash of the ADNOC Pro League at Baniyas Stadium.

Shabab Al Ahli made a strong start to the match, taking the lead in the 10th minute through Mohammed Juma, before the same player added a second goal in the 40th minute.

Baniyas managed to reduce the deficit in the 34th minute through Lionel Vardy after a well-organized attacking move, bringing the Sky Blues back into the contest before halftime.

In the second half, Baniyas continued to apply attacking pressure in search of an equalizer, and Fawaz Awana successfully leveled the score in the 64th minute to complete the team’s comeback.

Both sides pushed for a winning goal during the closing stages of the match, but the score remained unchanged until the final whistle.

With this result, Baniyas added another point to their tally in the ADNOC Pro League standings as the team continues its campaign in the competition reaching 27 points on the ranking table.
