Isăilă: We must minimize mistakes and deliver a strong performance

Daniel Isăilă stressed the importance of producing a strong and well-organized performance while building on the positives from the opening two rounds.

“We have a big match ahead against a strong team. We are disappointed with the results of our first two matches, despite showing some good moments and scoring four goals. Ultimately, collecting points is what matters most,” Isăilă said.

He added:
“Our focus is on correcting our mistakes, particularly the individual and defensive errors. Against a team with Al Wahda’s quality, we must minimize these mistakes and remain well organized throughout the match.”

Isăilă continued:
“I see what the players produce every day in training. We have the quality to create problems for any opponent in the league, but we need to maintain our concentration and organization and make the best use of our strengths.”

Regarding availability, Isăilă confirmed that João Victor will miss the match through injury, while Diković is suspended following his red card.

Niakate: We believe in our ability to win

Youssouf Niakhaté confirmed the team’s readiness and stressed the importance of learning from the opening two rounds.

“I believe we had everything we needed in the first two matches to achieve positive results, but some mistakes cost us points. We are ready for the next game and understand the challenge of facing a strong team like Al Wahda,” he said.

He added:
“We need to minimize mistakes. We know our qualities, we can score at any moment, and we have the ability to win the game.”

Niakhaté concluded:
“We have to believe in our ability to win and approach the match with the right mentality and full concentration from the beginning.”
