Al Orooba achieved a valuable victory, at the expense of its guest, Baniyas, with a score of 2-1, in the match that was held for the 23rd round of the ADNOC Professional League.


The first half witnessed Baniyas taking control of the match, precisely in the middle of the field, while Al Orooba also tried to take control and score the goal, but the first half prevented that, as there was no real danger on the goal from the two teams, which ended in a goalless draw.

In the second half, Al Orooba scored early, after only 6 minutes, by Youssef Ola Wenji, after he scored a header ball that came from a corner kick in the 51st minute.

After that, Baniyas equalized, through defender Sasa, from a header after his teammate Gaston Suarez's corner in the 68th minute.

In the last minutes of the match, Al Orooba snatched the goal of the advance by Mohammed Khalfan, who scored the second Al-Orooba goal, with which the match ended with his team winning 2-1. To snatch Al Orooba a valuable victory in the team's struggle to stay in the professional league.

The victory is the second for Al Orooba in his career in the competition, and through it he strengthened his chances of survival, as he raised his score to 14 points, but he remained locked in 13th place on the list of the league standings.
